British International School of Tunis
The British School of Tunis was established in 2011 but officially opened its doors to students in 2012. The school delivers the UK Natioanl Curriculum of Englaand and wales offering the EYFS and the Primary Programme. The school only has about 90 students currently but this is moviing towards the 300 mark and when it reaches this the school will progress to also opening Key Stage 3 and 4.
The Principal is highly experienced having working in schools in Switzerland, Kuwait and Paris. He is looking for teachers that are energetic and passionate about teaching. The school team is predominantly new and as the school is expanding you need to be someone who is flexible and prepared for change and someone that wants to develop their career as this school keeps on progressing.
The school is accredited by the Council of British Internatioanl Schools (COBIS) and is also recognised by the British Government's inspection of overseas schools. The school aims to create life-longer learners that have a passion for knowledge and learning so they are go and compete in the world, whether it is in further education or in their future career.
Students are from local families in the entire region as well as further afield. The school is very well located to provide a well rounded level of education to its students. Staff are warm and friendly and there is a good team environment in this school.
