About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Debate & Speech Coach to join our team in Shanghai. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in public speaking, debate coaching, and competitive debate training. You will work with talented students, guiding them to excel in national and international speech & debate competitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach students in public speaking, debate formats (BP, WSDC, LD, PF, etc.), and argumentation skills
- Prepare students for high-level debate tournaments and speech competitions
- Develop engaging lesson plans and training materials
- Provide individualised feedback to enhance students’ performance
- Foster a passionate and competitive learning environment
- Work on weekends to accommodate student schedules
- Lead and participate in summer debate camps
What We’re Looking For:

Strong experience in competitive debating (as a coach or participant)

Proven track record of coaching students to success in debate tournaments

Excellent public speaking and communication skills

Ability to engage and inspire students

Willingness to work weekends and summer camps

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Politics, Education, or related field (preferred)
