What You'll Be Doing

• Inspiring Learning: Deliver engaging, student-centered English lessons that develop reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Foster a deep love for literature and the English language through creative and interactive teaching methods.
• Empowering Students: Help students build critical thinking skills, enhance their analytical abilities, and develop their own voice through writing and communication.
• Assessment & Progress Tracking: Regularly assess students’ progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments. Provide timely, constructive feedback that promotes growth and improvement.
• Creating an Inclusive Classroom: Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated to participate.
• Collaborating with Colleagues: Work alongside a team of dynamic educators to plan lessons, share best practices, and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
• Continuous Growth: Stay updated with the latest developments in education and teaching strategies. Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve your skills.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field. A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is a plus.
• Experience: At least 2 years of teaching English at the secondary or primary school level, ideally in an international school setting.
• Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for teaching English and helping students become effective communicators.
• Classroom Management: Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a focused and supportive learning environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to engage and motivate students while maintaining clear and effective communication with parents and colleagues.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, with a flexible approach to meeting their individual needs.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage but not required.
