Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to join our client's talented team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for English, innovative teaching methods, and the ability to inspire and engage students across various grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver English (First Language, Literature, or Second Language) lessons.
- Use inquiry-based, skills-focused, and concept-driven teaching methods that align with the Cambridge philosophy.
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, and communication through diverse literary texts, media, and writing tasks.
- Differentiate instruction to cater to varied learning styles and abilities.
- Design and implement formative and summative assessments in line with IGCSE and A Level assessment criteria.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student progress.
- Guide students in preparing for IGCSE and A Level exams, including Paper 1, Paper 2, coursework, and oral assessments.
- Integrate technology, digital tools, and interactive resources to enhance learning.
Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree in English Education, English Literature, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
*Valid teaching certification.
*Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching English at secondary level.
*Proficiency in various art techniques and mediums.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators.
*Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to a multicultural school environment.
*Proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage but not required.
