JOB REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field masters preferred 
• A valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, State License, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience teaching Mathematics at a high school level
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team of teachers
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) and familiarity with modern teaching methodologies

Key Responsibilities for the HOD - Mathematics:

1. Lead the Mathematics Department: Oversee the planning, delivery, and assessment of the mathematics curriculum across multiple grade levels.
2. Team Management: Manage and support a team of mathematics teachers, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning standards.
3. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the mathematics curriculum, ensuring it meets international standards and adapts to student needs.
4. Professional Development: Provide ongoing mentorship, training, and support for the mathematics team to foster professional growth and ensure effective teaching strategies.
