Teach ESL in Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Education in Uzbekistan is recruiting English teachers to teach at public schools across the country. As an English teacher, you will be immersed in the Uzbek culture while inspiring students to learn English. The country's education system is going through a major reform and so they would like to raise the standard of English in the country. Interviews are taking place NOW and those who meet the criteria can join fairly soon.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to classes of up to 25 students
Teach beginner to advanced levels, covering reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar
Develop lesson plans and materials based on the national curriculum
Monitor students' progress and provide regular assessments and feedback
Maintain an organized and motivating classroom environment
Collaborate with other teachers and staff on activities and events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (TESOL/TEFL certification preferred)
- 1+ years experience teaching ESL/EFL
- Excellent English language skills, written and oral
- Experience of teaching ESL internationally is desirable
- Passion for teaching with an openness and sensitivity to cultural differences
- Flexible to adapt to a new working culture
- Tech-savvy to use technology where needed
Salary Benefits:
*Gross monthly salary from 1300 USD up to 3,000 based on years of teaching experience (tax rate of 12%) - very low cost of living in Uzbekistan
