Upper Primary Teacher

SeekTeachers is urgently looking for an experienced Upper Primary Teacher to join our client in Oman.
Our client is an established international school founded in 2002 and throughout the years, the school grew from just 50 to over 900 children and in time provided an education for girls and boys from the ages of 3 to 18. The international school follows a hybrid curriculum with elements taken from the National Curriculum of England and Wales, the IPC and IMYW from Fieldwork education and the curricular set by Cambridge Assessment International Education for IGCS/A Level for all students.
Teacher Requirements
- Degree in Primary Education or related subject
- A valid state teaching license or professional teaching qualification in Primary Education
- At least 2 years of teaching experience (2 years of continuous in one school, supply teachers are not considered)
- Must have an excellent command of written and spoken English
- Should be willing to respect the Omani and Islamic culture in terms of dress code and decent language.
Salary Package
TAX-FREE salary from 1200 to 1600 Omani Riyal( based on their qualifications, experiences and competency of the teacher)
50% subsidised furniture accommodation
FREE Annual return ticket or ticket allowance
FREE tuition for up to two children
FREE Medical and life insurance in the Sultanate of Oman
60 days Annual paid leave within the year depending on the school calendar approved by the ministry of education
Gratuity as per Omani labour law
A 2-year renewable contract
