KS2/3 Maths Teacher
 
SeekTeachers is urgently looking for an exprienced Middle School Maths teacher to join our client in Oman this Janury. 
 
Our client is a well-established British international school in the picturesque coastal city of Sur, Oman. The school follows the English National Curriculum and prides itself on fostering academic excellence, creativity, and a supportive community for its diverse student body.
 
The successful candidate will:
**Teach Mathematics to students in Key Stages 2 and 3, ensuring lessons are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to meet individual learning needs.
**Develop lesson plans aligned with the English National Curriculum.
**Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and supporting improvement.
**Collaborate with colleagues to deliver cross-curricular projects and extra-curricular activities.
**Maintain high standards of classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
**Engage with parents and guardians to support student development.
 
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at KS2 and/or KS3 level.
- Familiarity with the English National Curriculum.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Prior experience teaching in an international setting or in the Middle East is advantageous.

Qualification:

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 1000 up to 1600  OMR (Omani Rial) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 50% subsidised housing allowance  OMR (Omani Rial) provided

State/Public medical provided
