The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate PE teacher (ideally with Football or Volleyball coaching experience) to join our client's vibrant team in the next school year. The ideal candidate will have the ability to inspire students through engaging lessons and extracurricular activities that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sport.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports and age groups.
*Implement a curriculum that reflects both Chinese and international educational standards.
*Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation, sportsmanship, and collaboration.
*Organise and lead school sports events, including inter-house competitions and external fixtures.
*Collaborate with colleagues to support students’ overall well-being and development.
*Contribute to the school’s extracurricular programme by coaching or mentoring sports teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
*A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
*A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
*Experience teaching PE in a bilingual or international school setting is preferred.
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
*A proven track record of coaching or teaching a variety of sports.
Desirable:
*Ability to teach specialised sports (e.g Volleyball or Football).
*Fluency or working knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage but not essential.
*Familiarity with both Chinese and international education systems.
