Chemistry Teacher needed

SeekTeachers is seeking a dynamic and experienced IBMYP and DP Chemistry Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will inspire students in their pursuit of scientific understanding while fostering a collaborative and inquiry-driven learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Teach IBMYP (Grades 6-10) and IBDP Chemistry (Grades 11-12).
*Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB framework, with an emphasis on inquiry-based learning.
*Guide students in practical experiments and projects, including the IBDP Internal Assessment (IA) and the Extended Essay (EE) in Chemistry.
*Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and curriculum planning.
*Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
*Participate in professional development and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications and Experience
*Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
*Teaching certification or equivalent qualification.
*Minimum of 4 years of experience teaching Chemistry.
*Strong understanding of the IB curriculum and philosophy.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Commitment to fostering a student-centred and inclusive classroom.
