SeekTeachers is seeking a passionate and innovative teacher to lead the school's STEAM and robotics programs, with a focus on engineering and technology.
Our client is a non-profit bilingual school located in the beautiful Shanghai city, offering a unique Year 1 - 12 educational programme that integrates elements of Shanghai and international curricula, culminating in Years 9-12 with the IGCSE and IB Diploma Programmes, which are complemented by core components of the Shanghai curriculum.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these fields and a commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment. This role includes managing the school's current FRC program and potentially extending the program to other STEAM-related competitions and programs.
The school has been established for over 10 years and currently enrols over 1,500 students from aged 5-18.
An ideal candidate should be
**Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
**Teaching certification or equivalent experience in a middle school setting.
**Proven experience in robotics programs (preferably FRC) and engineering principles.
**Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java) and robotics platforms.
**Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Ability to inspire and engage students in STEAM subjects.
**Experience with project-based learning and hands-on activities.
**Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
**Commitment to professional development and continuous learning in the field of robotics and technology.
