Known for its vibrant energy and diversity, Lagos is home to over 20 million people and offers a unique blend of modern skyscrapers, traditional markets, and coastal beauty along the Atlantic Ocean. The city is divided into two main areas: the more commercial Lagos Island, with its financial districts and nightlife, and the mainland, where many residential neighborhoods and local markets thrive. Lagos is famous for its rich music scene, especially Afrobeat, as well as its festivals, art, and cuisine, making it a captivating destination for both locals and visitors. Despite challenges like traffic congestion and rapid urban growth, Lagos is a place of opportunity, resilience, and cultural richness.
