The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Primary Teacher to join our client's exceptional team. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students, driving academic achievement and personal growth in a supportive, child-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum.
* Monitor and assess students' progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel supported and valued.
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
* Participate in school events, parent meetings, and extracurricular activities.
* Commit to ongoing professional development and reflect on teaching practices for continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field. Teaching qualification such as PGCE or equivalent.
* Experience: Minimum of 4 years of primary teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
* Skills: Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
* Cultural Awareness: Willingness to embrace the rich cultural diversity of Shanghai and the school community.
* Desirable: Experience with international curricula such as the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) or equivalent.
