SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) | Immediate Start | Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced SENCO to join our client's school in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in a school setting, specifically in coordinating special educational needs programs, and be passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external specialists to ensure students receive appropriate support and interventions.
  • Provide guidance and training to teaching staff on best practices for inclusive education.
  • Regularly assess and monitor students' progress and make data-driven decisions for their ongoing development.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a SENCO in a school setting, preferably with both IB and American curriculum experience.
  • Familiarity with UAE education regulations and a track record of successfully working with diverse student populations.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Must be under the age of 55 due to visa requirements.
  • Immediate availability to start.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary: Competitive tax-free salary ranging between AED 15,000 to AED 18,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
