SeekTeachers is urgently seeking a passionate and dedicated IGCSE & A Level Physics Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Cambridge curriculum and a proven track record of inspiring students to achieve academic excellence in Physics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons to students at IGCSE & A Level.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Prepare students for external examinations with a focus on achieving top results.
- Engage students through innovative teaching methods, including practical experiments and the use of modern technology.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the Science department's curriculum.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or academic competitions.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Teaching certification, preferably in IGCSE or A Level Physics.
- Minimum of two years of experience teaching Physics at the secondary school level.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE & A Level curriculum.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus but not essential.
