Assistant Head of KG

SeekTeachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Head of Kindergarten to join our client's dynamic team in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The ideal candidate will assist in leading and managing the KG department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Assist the Head of Kindergarten in the overall management and leadership of the KG department.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of the KG classes.
- Support in the implementation of school policies and procedures.
Curriculum and Teaching:
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of the KG curriculum.
- Monitor and evaluate teaching practices, providing feedback and support to teachers.
- Ensure the delivery of a high-quality, engaging, and inclusive education for all students.
Student Development:
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Monitor and support the development and progress of all students.
- Address any behavioral or learning challenges with appropriate strategies and interventions.
Staff Development:
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and professional development of KG staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Parental Engagement:
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians.
- Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
- Address parental concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
**Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
**A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in early childhood education.
**Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.
**Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
**Fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage).
