Assistant Head of Boys

SeekTeachers is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Head of Boys to join our esteemed team in Al Ain, UAE. The successful candidate will support the Head of Boys in managing the boys' section of the school, ensuring the highest standards of education, discipline, and student welfare are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
*Assist the Head of Boys in the overall leadership and management of the boys' section.
*Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
*Implement and enforce school policies and procedures.
Academic Oversight:
*Support the development and implementation of the curriculum tailored to the boys' section.
*Monitor and evaluate teaching practices, providing constructive feedback and support to teachers.
*Ensure academic excellence and the delivery of high-quality education.
Student Welfare and Development:
*Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
*Monitor student progress and address any academic or behavioral issues.
*Develop and implement strategies to support the holistic development of students.
Staff Development:
*Assist in the recruitment, training, and professional development of staff.
*Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
*Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Parental and Community Engagement:
*Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians.
*Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
*Address parental concerns and engage with the community to promote the school’s vision and values.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with significant experience in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successful leadership in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage).
