SeekTeachers is seeking a passionate and experienced Bilingual Drama Teacher to join our client's diverse academic team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Arabic and English and have a strong background in drama education. You will be responsible for teaching drama to students, fostering their creative expression, and enhancing their communication skills through theatrical arts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging drama lessons in both Arabic and English.
- Develop and implement a drama curriculum that inspires creativity and artistic growth.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Direct and produce school plays, performances, and other theatrical projects.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate drama activities across the curriculum.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with advancements in drama education.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive school community.
Qualifications:
**Bachelor's degree in Drama, Theatre Arts, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
**Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
**Valid teaching certification/license.
**Demonstrated experience in teaching drama at the school level.
**Strong knowledge of drama pedagogy and current educational best practices.
**Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
**Commitment to creating an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with directing and producing theatrical performances.
Familiarity with integrating technology into drama instruction.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
