Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Integrated Science to join the school team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education and a commitment to inspiring students across a range of scientific disciplines. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons that integrate concepts from biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Integrated Science to students of varying abilities.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to facilitate student understanding and achievement.
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
- Assess and evaluate student performance and progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the instructional program and integrate cross-curricular themes.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with advancements in science education.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive school community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field (Master's degree is highly desirable).
- Valid teaching certification/license in [State/Country].
