Join our esteemed client, an American curriculum school in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assessment & Curriculum Director (K-8) to lead our assessment and curriculum development efforts.

Role Overview:
As the Assessment & Curriculum Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school's curriculum for grades K-8. You will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure the curriculum is aligned with the school's educational goals and meets the needs of all students.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive assessment and curriculum framework aligned with the American curriculum standards and educational objectives.
Lead curriculum review, development, and enhancement initiatives to ensure relevance, rigor, and coherence.
Collaborate with teaching staff to provide guidance and support in curriculum planning, assessment, and instructional strategies.
Coordinate and facilitate curriculum mapping, alignment, and assessment practices across all grade levels.
Analyze student data and assessment results to inform instructional decision-making and improve student outcomes.
Provide professional development opportunities and resources to support teachers in implementing the curriculum effectively.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including parents, educational agencies, and accreditation bodies, to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum implementation and recommend adjustments as needed.
 

Requirements:

Master's degree in Education or a related field.
Western-trained with extensive experience in curriculum development and assessment, preferably in an American curriculum school.
Strong knowledge of educational assessment principles and practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Fluent in English, with Arabic language skills considered a plus.
