PE Teacher Job | Physical Education | Teach in Qatar

On behalf of my client, I am seeking a qualified and experienced Female PE Teacher that is looking to teach in Qatar. This is an ideal school if you have taught in an Islamic faith school.

The school delivers the UK National Curriculum of England and Wales to students of Arabic background. The school has Islamic values and ethos, with students mainly from the Arabic backgrounds. They are very well behaved and so you will have very little behavioural issues.

Requirements to Apply
  1. Degree in c
  2. PGCE in PE with QTS
  3. Ideally 3 years of teaching experience
  4. Western trained
  5. Ability to speak Arabic is beneficial but not essential
  6. Must have experience teaching PE up to Key Stage 5
  7. Up to date with modern pedagogy
  8. Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
The school has about 1400 students on roll and growing. The school has excellent facilities with smart board and projectors in every class.
 
The school is located in central Doha and has mainly Arabic students attending where English is not the first language. The students are extremely friendly and there is virtually no behaviour issues at this school. The school is very well facilitated and is close to shops and is in an up-coming area of Doha
 
Salary Package
  1. TAX FREE salary up to 13,000 QAR per month
  2. FREE Furnished apartment, either one bedroom or two depending on the seniority of the position.
  3. FREE Electric and water bills paid (not more than 200 Qr.)
  4. FREE Wireless internet provided
  5. FREE Round trip tickets yearly to point of origin or other destination with equal ticket price
  6. FREE National Health insurance registration
  7. One time shipping allowance of QR 1400
  8. 50% of the teacher’s children fees equal to our school fees. (Maximum 3 children)
  9. Two-year contract which is renewable
PE Teacher Job Description
  1. Planning well-structured lessons.
  2. Taking responsibility for own professional development and ensuring best practice in classroom teaching and learning.
  3. Providing extra-curricular opportunities that are an essential part of subject provision such as drama and musical productions and PE fixtures.
  4. Keeping subject knowledge up to date.
  5. Contributing to the development of schemes of work and department resources.
  6. Contributing to preparing for changes to KS3, GCSE, A level syllabuses.
  7. Contributing to the implementation of new courses within the subject area.
  8. Attending department/faculty and year team meetings as part of directed time.
  9. Contributing fully to the extra-curricular programme within the department.
Other Requirements
  1. Acting as a form tutor and supporting the personal, social and spiritual well-being of students in every aspect of your work.
  2. Participating in school cross-curricular days such as citizenship or enterprise awareness days.
  3. Participation and contribution to the organisation of school visits and trips that complement learning.
  4. Supervision of students outside of lesson time in morning and afternoon sessions for example during lesson changeovers.
  5. Providing students’ work for classroom display.
  6. Regular attendance at meetings and parents’ evenings that are part of directed time.

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 9000 up to 12000   QAR (Qatar Riyal) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
