The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching English up to A level standard!. The school is an all-girls school located in Doha, Qatar which has about 1400 students on roll. English Teacher Requirements to Apply
**Degree in English
**A PGCE in English or valid teaching license English
**A TEFL or CELTA is preferred
**Ideally 2 years teaching experience although NQT's will be considered
**Western-trained preferably
**An excellent command of written and spoken English
**Tech savvy
**Have experience of the UK National Curriculum
**Candidates that have experience teaching in an Islamic faith school will be preferred or those that have taught in the GCC

**Create and use resources for your lessons
**Be well organised and have all your lesson plans up to date
**Carry out formative and summative assessment
**Ensure your lessons are well differentiated to meet the needs of your students
**Contribute to raising the standards of students’ academic attainment

**Undertake assessment of students as requested by external examination bodies, curriculum areas and school procedures

**Complete the relevant documentation to assist in the tracking of students
**To follow department policy regarding department tracking of student progress and use information to inform learning and teaching
**Follow setting and coordinating assessment arrangements in English at all Key Stages and in all areas as required by school policies, including standardising those assessment
