Head of Arabic and Islamic Studies | TAX-FREE income with benefits
I am looking for a strong and experienced Head of Arabic to join for the next academic year. The ideal candidate would be someone that has a firm knowledge of the KHDA and MOE framework and has managed to raise the Arabic department to at least a good standing
My client is a British curriculum school located in Dubai. Having recently been refurbished, the school has bought in new technology as well to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
The great thing about this school is that the students are very friendly and actually keen to learn. As the Head of Arabic, you will be required to raise the standards of the Arabic teachers to a consistent and quality level to bring the department up to scratch in line with the other departments.
The interview Can be done over Skype or in person if you are situated in the UAE. As Head of Arabic, you should have a working knowledge of both Arabic A and Arabic B.

You will have support from the whole school principal to raise the level. If you also have experience of delivering CPD this would be valuable as the existing staff requires further training to work consistently as a department.
Requirements to Apply

A degree in Arabic/Islamic studies from an established university

A valid teaching qualification

Ideally 3 to 5 years management experience

Have an excellent command of written a and spoken Arabic and English

Tech-savvy

Must have experience of KHDA and MOE inspection framework

Additional:

**Having a Master's is beneficial to your application
**Experience of teaching in the Middle East is beneficial to your application
**If you have experience of working in an Islamic environment/students is beneficial for you
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 12,000 up to 18,000
AED (UAE Dirham) per month
based on experience and qualification,
