Female Science Teachers are needed in Qatar for an all-girls school. The school delivers the UK National Curriculum with Islamic values and ethos. Established in 1996 this school has increased its student's enrolment to nearly 1400 students. The students are excellent and well behaved. They are keen to learn. Science Teacher Salary Package
** TAX-FREE salary ranging from 9000-13000 QAR per month

The school is broken up into buildings for early years, primary and secondary students. The ideal teacher will be able to deliver up to Key Stage 5 and have a specialism within Science. The ideal candidate will be someone that has taught in Islamic faith schools before or has experience of teaching local students in the GCC.
Students at this school come from the following countries: Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Bosnia, United States, Iraq, Syria, Bahrain, Oman, Spain, UAE, South African, Libya, Canada, Pakistan, Sudan, Malaysia, Srilanka, France, Iran, Australia, Algeria, Portugal, Singapore and United Kingdom. There about 170 staff working here. Most of the staff are highly experience with more than 5 years teaching experience and some have over 20 years of education.
Science Teacher Requirements to Apply
**Degree in Science or related subject
**A PGCE in Science with QTS or a valid teaching license in Science
**Experience teaching STEM or STEAM is beneficial
**Ideally 2 years teaching experience although NQT's will be considered
**Western-trained preferably
**An excellent command of written and spoken English
**Tech savvy
**Have experience of the UK National Curriculum
**Candidates that have experience teaching in an Islamic faith school will be preferred or those that have taught in the GCC

**Mark, grade and give written/verbal and diagnostic feedback as required
**Undertake assessment of students as requested by external examination bodies, curriculum areas and
school procedures
**Assess, record and report on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of students and to
keep such records as are required
**Complete the relevant documentation to assist in the tracking of students
**To follow department policy regarding department tracking of student progress and use information to
inform learning and teaching
**Follow setting and coordinating assessment arrangements in Science at all Key Stages and in all areas as
required by school policies, including standardising those assessment
**To attend staff CPD sessions
**To take part in staff development programmes of deliver INSET's if you have experience of doing so
