SeekTeachers has partnered with The Safeguarding Alliance as we believe in 'educating the world' and offer institutions the expertise to safeguarding to ensure a safe environment for children and young people. Our education Trainers are experts in the field that have proven knowledge to encourage teachers to become outstanding Educators. The Safeguarding Membership offer supports professionals to identify and develop their safeguarding vision, mission and long term safeguarding objectives, by truly understanding their strategic position and safeguarding landscape. |

The Safeguarding Alliance offer schools an annual safeguarding health check that will mitigate against potential risks and promote pupil safety and well being. Dependent on geographical location this will be conducted either on school site or face-to-face using our secure online platform. |

SAFEGUARDING TOGETHER Safeguarding Together allows our members to collaborate, show case best practice and raise awareness of current safeguarding trends through a monthly safeguarding publication. Although it is important that safeguarding remains contextual to practice and location, it is paramount that global safeguarding trends are considered as they have the potential to impact the wellbeing and safety in your setting. |
COVID-19 In response to COVID-19 The Safeguarding Alliance have developed a three phased approach to safeguarding; Critical Response, Adjustment and Rehabilitation. For each phase we have developed a safeguarding resource pack that will support you in your role. Resources will be regularly updated to incorporate any guidance changes. |
SUPPORT Holding safeguarding responsibility can be a lonely and demanding position. The Safeguarding Alliance offer a designated safeguarding support line to help you when and if you need it. This support service provides you with the opportunity to speak with a member of The Safeguarding Alliance team, or via a dedicate telephone number and email. |
THE SAFE SPACE A safeguarding forum specifically designed to support Designated Safeguarding Leads, safeguarding governors, trustees and other key professionals working hard to keep children, young people and vulnerable adults safe. Members have the opportunity to share and reflect on best practice with other professionals, post questions and speak directly to The Safeguarding Alliance. |
THE TRAINING SPACE A dedicated training space offering members free monthly Continued Professional Development on relevant and current safeguarding topics. The Training Space enables professionals to maintain CPD throughout the year. In addition members will be entitled to discount on any of our Ofqual fully accredited Safeguarding qualifications or other CPD courses. |
RESOURCES The role of The Safeguarding Lead is extremely time consuming and brings great responsibility. We have developed a wealth of extensive materials designed to support you in your role. Our templated documents are ready to use and can be adapted to meet your contextual requirements. Our resources are regularly updated to ensure best practice. |
TRAINING RESOURCES The training hub is dedicated to train-the-trainer resources including PowerPoints, trainer notes, quizzes, videos and case scenarios. This will allow schools to build safeguarding knowledge and evidence professional safeguarding competence. Resources are updated regularly ensuring that schools remain current with safeguarding trends and threats. |
