As a School Guidance Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping students' futures by providing essential support, guidance, and mentorship during their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address academic, emotional, and social challenges.
• Assist students with personal issues, offering strategies to overcome obstacles and cope with stress.
• Support students in developing strong decision-making, problem-solving, and coping skills.
• Work with teachers and parents to identify student needs and provide solutions and resources to support their development.
• Offer career guidance, college counseling, and assist with post-secondary planning for high school students.
• Lead workshops and sessions on topics such as emotional well-being, stress management, and conflict resolution.
• Develop and implement wellness programs that foster a positive, supportive school environment.
• Maintain student records and ensure confidentiality while adhering to school policies.
• Participate in school meetings and collaborate with faculty to support student well-being.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a School Guidance Counselor or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of student development and counseling techniques.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and faculty.
• Familiarity with US or UK Common Core curriculum and the challenges students face in international schools.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting students’ well-being.
