Are you a visionary educational leader with a passion for driving academic excellence? We are seeking a dynamic Academic Director to join one of Kuwait's leading international schools. As the Academic Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the school’s academic programs, ensuring high standards of education, and leading initiatives that enhance both teaching and learning. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development, implementation, and assessment of the school’s K-12 academic programs.
• Ensure alignment with US or UK Common Core curriculum standards across all grade levels.
• Lead and support teachers, offering mentorship, professional development, and resources to enhance teaching practices.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance, implementing strategies to improve academic outcomes.
• Collaborate with school leadership, faculty, and parents to drive the academic vision of the school.
• Develop and enforce policies related to academic performance, curriculum development, and instructional quality.
• Lead school-wide initiatives to foster continuous academic improvement and innovation.
• Stay updated with the latest educational trends and integrate them into the school’s programs.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Education or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic leadership, with at least 2 years as an Academic Director or in a senior academic management role.
• In-depth knowledge of K-12 education, preferably within the US or UK Common Core curriculum.
• Proven experience leading academic teams and driving improvements in student performance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A track record of successful curriculum implementation and fostering a culture of professional growth among educators.
• Ability to engage with all school stakeholders, including faculty, parents, and the school community.
