Female MYP Maths Teachers | Teach in the UAE | Teach in Ras Al Khaimah

I am seeing 2 experienced MYP Maths teachers to join my client for the next academic year. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching in the GCC and working with local Emirati students

The school is located in the Northern Emirate called Ras Al Khaimah (RAK). RAK is up and coming with a GREAT ex-pat vibe. The school is part of a large group of schools and due to a higher enrolment the school is in need of more highly qualified educators.

Requirements to apply
  1. Advanced course work and degrees (Masters (M.A. , M. Ed, M.S.), Education Specialist (Ed.S), or Doctorate (Ed.D, Ph.D, J.D.)) from recognized internationally accredited or national university
  2. Successful prior experience in teaching in UAE, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia
  3. Experience teaching in American Common Core curriculum
  4. Experience in teaching in an International Baccalaureate World School (PYP, MYP, DP)
  5. Has received official IBO training and can provide certificate indicating such training
  6. Experience in teaching College Board approved Advanced Placement classes preferred
  7. Has received official College Board Advanced Placement Training and can provide certificate indicating such training
  8. Experience in sponsoring student extra-curricular activities
  9. A valid state teaching license in Maths/PGCE in maths
  10. Being able to speak Arabic is beneficial but not essential
The school has some good facilities with housing also being walking distance from the school and it is fully furnished
  1. Salary range, dependent upon years of experience and qualification:  AED 12,100 to 15,675 per month

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have international education experience international educational institute before are accepted
Additional:
**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Experience of USA Curriculum such as American Harcourt, AP and Common Core is highly valued
**It will be beneficial to your application if you have experience of working in the Middle East or with non-native speakers of English
**Non-native candidates will require an IELST level 7+ to be considered

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12375 up to 15,675  AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Utility Bills:
500AED per month
Baggage Allowance:
up to 500 USD on actual reciept

Gratuity Amount:
Gratuity Amount of 1 month bonus pay for each year accrued is provided

2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
Additional information:
**Tuition is provided for 2 children aged 3-18 years of age
**IB workshop training provided up to $3000 as well as in-house CPD
