UAE public and private schools are launching robotics, artificial intelligence (AI) and programming skills with help of more than 30 specialisation centres. The project by the MOE is intended to prepare students for national robotic competitions like Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (AIR) evolving around the world.

The MOE would increase the number of AIR in schools from 30 to 70 in the upcoming year and making it available inside shopping centres, businesses and other areas in the private sector.

The new system is placed would create competition in the AI and programming world to ensure students gain highly skills in AIR and get ready for futuristic jobs to top in the UAE and internationally.

The centres have provided the suitable training and skills to youngsters to ensure they are producing innovative, complex and creative tasks to learn more effectively and be able to master these skills as time passes by gaining more experience.

When the programming first started in 2015, there were only 32 applicants and two different types. In the latest one that took place at ADNEC, there were more than 3,000 competitors and 20 several groups, including Minecraft National Competition (MNC), On Stage Preliminary League, Soccer Open League and STEAM Project Kids.
