Current private K-12 education segment of $6 billion is soon to increase by 2023 to $12 billion with enrolment and tuition increase as well as expatriate population to grow.

The education sector is becoming a pull for investors as over the next five years it is predicted to expand majorly.

With the Vision 2030, Ministry of Education Saudi Arabia has a determined strategy to reinforce the economy, increase quality of education and change youth mindsets. The number of students is predicted to increase significantly from 18% to 30% by 2023.

As the expat community will rise, parents are more likely to enrol their children in value private schools and that will lead to higher school fees but more advanced curriculum, resources and highly qualified teachers with more extra-curricular activities.

Expatriates will have high financial pressure as schools have decreased their tuition-reimbursement packages which will make it difficult for families to send their children to schools. Tuition charges will keep rising 2% to 4% per year, making it extremely difficult for expats!

It’s all changing rapidly, before it was easier for expatriates to move with dependants; be able to receive 100% tuitions discounts but it’s decreasing to 50% and less with schools not offering any discounts.

With huge growth in education region, Saudi Arabia will have more exposure to international curriculum, tough competition to other countries in persian gulf region and great outcome ahead!

There will be more opportunities for teachers and students to grow; reach their goals with better achievements and prosperous future.

Students will be more encouraged to learn; study and accomplish their aims. Cutting-edge technologies will be provided for improved functionality to make it easier for teachers to teach and students to learn at school.
